Amy Bayer, a writer and editor, specializes in journalism, corporate, and political communications.

Amy manages a team of writers for Old Town Writers Group, and is active in professional communications and business organizations. She develops public relations campaigns for corporations, political organizations and associations, with an emphasis on grass-roots advocacy, labor issues and media.

During her 15-year career as a political correspondent, she covered the White House and presidential politics, logging thousands of miles on the campaign trail. In addition, she covered congressional politics and policy, focusing on foreign affairs, social and economic issues. Her work has appeared in a number of national publications.

Amy also served as director of communications for the Roosevelt Center for American Policy Studies.

In addition to her work as a speechwriter and communications consultant, Amy lectures on media and political communications.
